If you’re looking for a hands-off robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible alternatives. It’s part of a litany of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops however it’s priced at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work in order to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer’s app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that’s done, though the robot can begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

It is important to note that the mapping process can take quite a while and it could require a few attempts before the Yeedi Cube has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a rug with tassels and required a flip to release itself. But these are minor issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a ideal choice for those who need an all-in-one cleaning companion.

1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion similar to hand scrubbing, which results in floors that are genuinely cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to reach areas that a robotic vacuum can’t.

This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app allows you to alter a variety of settings, including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

However, it had trouble with fine-grained debris and wasn’t always able to remove raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to replenish its clean water tank, Robotvacuummops.uk empty the dustbin, dry and wash the mop, and empty its mop pad. This makes upkeep easy and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors in regular schedules. Eufy’s app lets you manage all the functions. The Freo’s brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping around it. This can be a major problem with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they’re close to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.

The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins each time they need to be cleaned.

A few hundred dollars cheaper than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office clean and can also tackle the corners of my tiny apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so that it can know what to stay clear of. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust the settings for each room of your home.

It comes with the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can avoid mopping rooms that aren’t soiled. It’s a great option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and don’t want to spend the extra money for a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

1. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you’re seeking a flexible robot that can perform regular maintenance and touch-ups to wet messes. It offers a broad range of features, including a self-emptying dustbin as well as a separate water refill dock, as well as adjustable settings within the app. It’s surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It’s unable to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we test.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It wasn’t as efficient as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did quite well. The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum that can be used in small areas. It is very silent and fast and can maneuver tight spaces well. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It’s smaller than most of its competitors however it doesn’t sacrifice features. It has good suction power and can be set to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as ‘not found’ to ensure that they won’t be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but it’s not so well at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot’s bottom, and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
